Russia, Alaska and Canada - The North Pacific Crescent

So you've never heard of the North Pacific Crescent? Don't worry, not many people have. And we want that to change. It's a vast region that stretches from Siberia across the Bering Strait into western Canada. Many people are often surprised to learn that there are thousands of Native and Immigrant communities that have no indigenous church or gospel witness whatsoever.

Since InterAct Ministries was founded in 1951 in Alaska, our missionaries have been passionate to see disciples made and churches planted among unreached and least-reached peoples of the North Pacific Crescent. Beginning with ministry in the Alaska bush, work expanded over time to include First Nations tribes in western Canada. The ministry in Canada has also expanded over the years to include large immigrant populations of Muslims and Punjabi-speaking Sikhs. After the collapse of the Soviet Union, missionaries began work among the many Native people groups in the Russian Far-East.
